A cold-storage project starts with the storage regime, not only the building dimensions. A quotation review needs the operating and design temperatures, humidity, chamber zoning, door-opening pattern, stored product, dimensions, floor loads, site snow and wind data, and delivery destination. The frame, insulated sandwich-panel envelope, vapour-control layer, joints, interfaces, doors, roof drainage and thermal-bridge treatment should be reviewed as one system. Core type and panel thickness are selected from the thermal calculation, project requirements and confirmed data for the selected panel system. The agreed scope may include design, steel-frame fabrication, envelope supply, export packing, delivery and erection supervision. Refrigeration equipment, insulated floor, foundations, internal services and commissioning are not included unless the proposal states them explicitly. Schedule and order volume are project-specific and are confirmed with the quotation request.
